Battery car operating rules

Aug 12, 2021

1. Before work, you must check the brake, horn (alarm), light, battery voltage, and current. If there are any abnormalities, they should be repaired or replaced. Forced work is prohibited when the machine condition is abnormal.

2. The driver must obey the signal command. When the signal is unknown, driving without authorization is prohibited.

3. When starting, a horn (bell) should be sounded to warn. During operation, the driver must concentrate, keep his head and hands from sticking out of the window, and always observe the line situation and whether there is any intrusion of the bent frame in the tunnel or other facilities and sundries (travel clearance: 2m on the track surface, outside the track side o. 4m); non-operating personnel are not allowed on the locomotive; personnel are not allowed on the towed mine car.

4. The work of shunting, picking and hanging, switching, and placing iron wedges must be handled by a dedicated person. It is forbidden to substitute any other objects for the use of coupling pins and iron wedges.

5. When the object to be carried is too wide or high, the driver must confirm whether the size exceeds the limit (the height of the load shall not exceed 1.5m from the top of the rail, and the width shall not exceed 0.1m from the outer edge of the bucket), and there is no danger of collapse on the way.

6. During the rendezvous, empty cars will give way to heavy cars and no rushing is allowed.

7. When the driver leaves the locomotive, he must brake the locomotive and cut off the current; if necessary, use iron wedges to wedge the wheels.
